CCS Associates, Inc. (CCSA) is pleased to announce their collaboration with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement program in support of the ongoing R&D studies.
The FDA CTP is responsible for carrying out the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act, which Congress passed in 2009. The mission of the FDA CTP is to protect Americans from tobacco-related death and disease by regulating the manufacture, distribution, and marketing of tobacco products and by educating the public, especially young people, about tobacco products and the dangers their use poses to themselves and others.
Donya Bagheri, the key project principal at CCSA, expressed her excitement for her team to be part of such a crucial program, particularly from its inception, and looks forward to multiple years of collaboration with the FDA.
