CCS Associates, Inc. (CCSA) is proud to announce the continuation of its support of the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) as the Coordinating Center for the Vascular Interventions/Innovations and Therapeutic Advances (VITA) program. The VITA program provides research and development support to academic researchers as well as early stage biotech and medical device companies for translational development of product candidates in the fields of vascular disorders, thrombotic diseases, and pulmonary hypertension.
CCSA’s Principal Investigator, Donya Bagheri, will continue to lead this successful effort and provide assistance to the NHLBI staff and VITA investigators. Due in part to Ms. Bagheri and her team’s achievements during the VITA program’s initial phase, NHLBI has extended the program’s mandate for another three years.
